  • Mushroom - 2 cups
  • Onion - 2
  • Chickpea flour - 2 spoons
  • Curd - ¼ cup
  • Black pepper - ½ cup
  • Ginger-garlic paste - 1 spoon
  • Garam masala - 2 spoons
  • Turmeric powder - ½ spoon
  • Chili powder - 1 spoon
  • Oil - as needed
  • Lemon juice - 1 spoon
  • Cashew nut - a little
  • Salt - as needed


  1. In a bowl, mix chickpea flour, black pepper powder, curd, garam masala, and turmeric powder. Then add a little oil and make a smooth paste by mixing ginger-garlic paste.
  2. Then, put a pan on the stove, add a little oil, and heat it. Once it is hot, add ginger-garlic paste and fry well.
  3. Then add chickpea flour and onion and sauté well. The water in the mushroom should be completely dried before adding it to the pan.
  4. After adding the green chili, finely grind coriander powder and add it. Then add tamarind, tamarind juice, and bitter gourd. Stir until it boils.
  5. Add the required amount of water and cook until it reaches a thick consistency. Finally, when it boils, add chopped coriander leaves and remove.

This gravy is easy to make and tastes delicious at the same time.
