Overview
At KP Kaalan, we strive to deliver the freshest oyster mushrooms — generally harvested the same day or the previous evening. Because mushrooms are highly perishable, please read our policy carefully.
Order Cancellation
Orders cannot be cancelled once placed. Mushrooms are packed fresh for each order, so we are unable to accept cancellation requests after an order is confirmed.
Returns
We do not accept returns after the product has been delivered.
Refund Eligibility
You may be eligible for a full refund only under the conditions below:
- Damaged or spoiled on delivery: If the packaging is damaged or the mushrooms are rotten/spoiled at the time of delivery.Please contact us within 2 hours of delivery and include clear photos of the product and packaging.
- Expired on delivery: We generally deliver mushrooms with a 4-day shelf life. If your order arrives already past its expiry date, you are eligible for a refund.
When refunds are NOT eligible
- Mushrooms that spoil due to customer delay in using or storing them within the expiry period.
- Mushrooms that expire after the day of delivery because they were kept beyond the shelf life.
- Damage or spoilage resulting from improper storage by the customer (e.g., left unrefrigerated, exposed to excessive heat, etc.).
We provide the expiry duration at delivery — it is the customer's responsibility to store and use the mushrooms appropriately within that timeframe.
Refund Process & Timeline
If a refund request is approved, refunds will be processed within 7-10 working days using the same payment method used for the order.
How to Request a Refund
- Contact us at support@kpkaalan.com within same day of delivery.
- Provide your order ID, delivery date/time, and a short description of the issue.
- Attach clear photos of the product and packaging showing the damage or expiry.
Shelf Life & Delivery Notes
We aim to send fresh mushrooms harvested the same day or the previous evening. Typical shelf life is up to 4 days from the time of packing. If you receive the mushrooms on the same evening of harvest, you should expect the full shelf life stated at delivery.
